N64 model number

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

N64 model number

Hey does anyone know the moddel number for an N64 with the U4 chip (for RGB mod)? It should be a board from 96-97...if anyone knows the model number it would really help me out. thanks,

On the top of my 97 board, it says nus-cpu-05. Im not sure if thats the one you need, but i have a 96, 97(2), 98, and 99 if any of those help

I think he means the model numbers on the outside of the case....

The outside of the case says nus-001, but all of mine say that

Actuallly, if you have a 96 and 97 boards, would you consider trading one to me with the U4 chip? I'll give you one of my N64's in exchange and a little bit of money if you're interested. That would help me out a lot and I wouldn;t need to know the model number...

I would love to trade. What year board do you have to trade? I dont really care, just wondering. I just have to get the ok from my parents (ugh) first. Btw, the U4 is the one about 1/2 inch to the right of that middle one, right. Ill post pics of the board after the dance.

hey thanks for doin the trade with me. Yeah, the U4 is to the right and It's 28 pins I think (just make sure it's not 3 pins, that's the one that won't work). I'm actually talking with some friends of mine who have N64s to get one with the U4 chip. Since they live here it would (obviously) be much easier to obtain one that way. If it falls through though I will let you know and I will then definitely love to do a trade =) BTW, I have 2 boards, 98 and 2000
