thinking about making a portable

ive tried taking apart a DC, well a broken one I found in the junkyard, i fixed it and remember that i MODIFIED it. Its hard, but yet easy. For a DC-DC converter, i got mine from Digikey, but i had to modify it, so i added it with a DC jack in thing car adapter, and it worked!
