once again, sorry for the double post, but I thought during my break from soldering, I would take some pics, and post it, so you guys can see how close I am!

the only things left to do!!!:

1. Finish soldering cart. slot back to board.
2. wire monitor and system to 7805
3. wire controller to board
4. wire battery to board
5. put in case
6. play all the games I want to play!!

QUESTION: do you guys think that if I brought this into GameCrazy or something like that, that they would let me test games on it? I sure hope so, because I havent played a LOT of the games made for the system, it would be sweet to be able to go in and test a few, and since they wouldnt have to hook up a system or anything like that...

Looks like your SNESp is coming together nicely.

As for your questions. Dont know, and there is only one way to find out, ask them if they will let you play them.

Aren't you going to move all of those capacitors? I guess they might not get in the way if you reposition the cartridge slot, but they will still take up valuable room. Kudos to your friend who reinserted the pins though, he is awesome.

Does anyone know if pin # 60 is used in any games? lol.....im laughing but im not.... i got some solder in pin 60.... well, i tried to just pull it out with my pliers... but when i pulled, a little copper tube kind of thing came with it, and got mangled, and now im not able to get solder to stick to the board on pin 62.... did I just ruin my system? because if I did.... I am going to be REALLY pissed.... please answer asap... but I doubt anyone will, so im probably going to go to bed in 10 min or so

if that doesnt work your best off getting a new board.....you might be able to fix it but you would need experience......

Follow where pin 60 hooked up (where you ripped off the copper trace) and attach the wire that goes to pin 60 to that spot. It should work like a charm then.

solder wont stick inside pin # 60.... as I said before, I accidentally pulled out a copper type surrounding in the pin hole... so solder wont stick anymore.... someone told me to follow the trace, and solder to where it leads, but there are 2 traces coming off of it...

thats what im asking.

You have just stumbled upon the problem Turbo Tax, it is that the traces that connected to the holes have ripped up.

LethalMeatball, if 60 is the messed up hole, find the trace that leads directly from it, it may even be on the other side of the board. You need to find where it went and connect the pin wire to it. If it is on the other side, run the wire through the board (strip a longer amount) and solder the end to another wire. Connect that wire to the component where the trace leads.
