grrrrrr stupid screws help?!!! snesp

Any easy ways without melting stuff or breaking screwdrivers??? trying 2 open my snes *original* and wow those screws r annoying :evil: !!!! thx 4 ur help

The two shallow ones can be reached with a pair of needlenose pliers. Try the melted bic pen technique on the deeper screws (it didnt work for me so don't get discouraged). You might just have to shell out 5$ for the bit off ebay (that is if you don't want to break all the screw posts like I did).

if you're gonna melt a pen (suggested), use pen with clear plastic because their plastic is hard and they work great. there aren't many easy ways to open it without melting or breaking anything

the heating the screws worked for me but sometimes you need to pull the case apart while your melting the screw posts

…or you could check in the Atari section for a whole guide on the screws. (Yeah, it's in the Atari forum, but I didn't start it.)
