PS2 Laser Ribbon Cable(30Pin)??

Hrm I have encountered a problem.
With my case design the drive is in the center on the back and the ribbon cable for the laser(30pin) does not reach at all. Although the pstwo version ben had looks like it reached. Anybody know where I could find one of those.
Or if thats not possible any good ideas on extending it that are physically possible.

Solder on extension wires.

HA HA HA! Solder on extension wires! HA HA! Dude, have you EVER seen a PS2 laser ribbon!? A computer can't solder that small! HA HA HA!

Im guessing its one of those plastic cables like every other laser assembly ive ever seen has used. If so, then good luck.

You have to desolder the jack and reposition it. just about impossible to do without any special equipment.
