Old or New PS2?

Post by Cronic the hedcold »

which should I make protable?

The Slimline PS2 would be a bit easier, but I heard there are a couple of bugs in it...

If you want an uber-leet harddrive PS2 thing then use old, if you want smaller and what-not use the slim.

if you're on a really tight budget, go with the regular PS2...it can be easily modded to be almost as small as the slim PS2....if you've got the money, then definitely go for the slim one :) (the slim one has ports for online play integrated, too :))
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

You know the slim isnt that exspecive, I bought a used one for ~$120, a whopping $10 more then the used (old style) PS2.

And as for the hard drive, there was a site posted about that shows you the leads that you can use to connect a hard drive to. The problem being is that the PS2 slim uses 8.5v and 5v so you'd have to get a big 12v batter or use a notebook hard drive if you wanted to do that mod.

At times like these I wish we could still make polls.

Go with the new slim one.
