Hi everyone.
I have added some pics to my construction photo log.
http://24.5.48.50/atariPortableSite/index.html
This is my Vagabond inspired Atari VCSp
I now have the sides covered in brushed aluminum and have all of the switches and controles mounted. So the case is done.
I just need to add decals.
I am finishing the final wireing now and will post pics of it running, and me playing it whan I am done. (this might take a while, work as me busy)
I will also make a real site with comments when I am done.
I am also working on my 512 game multi cart. It will have all of the NTSC 2K and 4K games, and instead of using the pain in the @$$ dip switches I will be using rotary dip switches. So you will just turn 2 small knobs to choose the game
I have the circut boards ready to etch, and the bin files are being created right now.
I will be making 5 X 512 game multi carts. And will make them available to the members of this forum for the cost of the chips and components.
Ben probably gets one for free if he wants one. (for all his inspiration)
I could also run some sort of a portable contest and just give them away.
Anyhow, Please let me know what you think of my very first portable and I would welcome any comments about the multi-cart I am making.
thanks
my portable construction log update

hi, this is for HK-47 in particular
I think you might have been asking about my screen and brushed aluminum over in gannons thread. I didn't want to hi-jack the thread so I will answer here.
The screen I used is from a 3 inch rca tv. It looks so small because it is in 2 pieces and I have them wired together (one is tucked under the atari pcb and one is under the screen.
The brushed aluminum is a vinal that I ordeded from .
http://www.fastdecals.com it is 10.00 a foot.
I hope that helps, and that you find this responce
I think I will start another thread about the multi-cart so that it will be simple to find.
