Bens book

Post by RNS0504 »

"I am currently writing an entire book on how to build portable game systems, complete with photos, diagrams and templates aplenty. I even tell the reader which end of the soldering iron to hold!"

Although we all know that bens book is coming out, i feel relieved that " I even tell the reader which end of the soldering iron to hold!" onlt because i actually grabbed the wrong end of the soldering iron once, while it was plugged in. Not grabbed as touching lightly, grabbed like picked it up like itwas a dumbell. It burned all the way through my skin... I have been scarred for life (literally!).

Ouch. You hold it by the cord and hang it, then drop it down like a claw machine, of course :P

Wow I'm lucky I've only got those burns that happen when the iron is too close to your skin, not touching but close. And I've also grabbed a hair curler when plugged in so I know just how thats feels grabbing the soldering iorn.

So RNS0504, tell us whats the smell of burning human flesh smell like.

When I was littler my hair was absurdly long (past my shoulders even) and when hair touches the soldering iron, it really smells!!!

I broke a laptop in half a while back(dont ask) and I was soldering the wires to the power adapter back on, while sitting croass legged on the floor. Then I dropped some melted solder on my leg and freaked and dropped the soldering iron on my other leg. I have scars on both my legs now...
