I have a 9.6v NiCd Battery. Would this be ok for my snesp? Is the voltage too high. Fyi, Im using the Intec screen pad. Will this work with this battery?

And how much does the snes take? The Intec goes as low as 7.2v. I dunno if NiCd is ok

Doesn't matter, it's got a regulator.

if it has a regultor and the screen can go down to 7.2v, then a 9.6v battery will be fine, but i suggest NiMh because they're just better than NiCad

The power the SNES takes depends on if you want to keep the regulator or not. If so, you'll need about 7.5v for the SNES. If you want to do it a much easier way, just remove the regulator, and where the 5v output went to the main board, just tap power from a 5v source on the screen (I'm sure it has at least 1 regulator with a 5v out).
