XBOX/GC lcd's

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

XBOX/GC lcd's

Post by Geebs61 »

do the xbox/gamecube lcd's require more power or something? Has anyone tried using one of these? I did find an old post about the intec gamecube screens... Has anyone discovered anything more to it? and what about the xbox?

I ask because I can get one of these for a lot cheaper than a PSone screen.

The PS2, GC, and Xbox screens all require 12v. The reason everyone wants the PSOne is it runs on 7.2, a far more useful volotage as most systems run on 7.2v (or 5v as the 7805 does).
