Need advice on batteries

Post by jjcastagna »

Hey guys,

I've been snooping around battery land and I've found a couple products that I think might be ideal... but I'm not sure:

<a href="http://www.batteryspace.com/index.asp?P ... rodID=1199" target="new">-7.2V 2400mah Li-Ion</a>
<a href="http://www.megabatteries.com/item_detai ... &cat_id=28" target="new">-7.2v 3300mAh NiMH Battery Pack</a>

Also, I'd like to be able to build my SNESP so that I can play while charging the battery and I want to make sure these would do the job.

Any advice/recommendation? Thanks.

I use dual 7.2 volt batteries, 3000 mAh each, and get about 5 hours of life on an unmodded screen on my SNES.
Warranty-Voiding fun!

How do I make an integrated charger with the second one?
I was thinking of using the snes power plug and set up the battery on a parallel circuit to charge it while I play. Is that a bad idea? Would it even work? I guess I need some way of shutting down the battery circuit when its done charging... help!!!
