That circuit board is the way that the disk reader hooks up to the real mobo. The real mobo is much bigger and has a huge heatsink covering most of it.

You only get a prize after you either relocate the 2 connectors for the drive or the 1 connector between the mobo and the drive controller so you don't have to mount the drive over the mobo :P

Started doing that today! I've actually created a way, so that when I'm done, they will each mount going vertical, so naturally, my portable will me Portrait style.

and, er, you didn't actually "invent" it, since I've already done that on my GCp :P....really, it's the ONLY way to have the disc drive work for a portable...
Without games my life would have no meaning.

yeah, since I never actually mentioned it and you DID write that little guide, I suppose all honors shall go to you :).....too bad the disc drive can't go even smaller, though :'(....
