1st) Sending 12v into the 3.3v rail
2nd) When my internal batteries randomly shorted out
3rd) Soft Drink... need i say more
4th) randomly stopped working after moving cart plug
5th) gave it a bad look... still cant figure that out
6th) send 12v into gnd, 3.3v into 12v, and gnd into 3.3v... bad...
7th) taking it outa the case, and i was careful?
8th) another one that randomly stopped working
9th) pretty sure i overheated it, but not sure

*its not like i wanted to kill these, and since there only about 5 bucks a console or my policy, give me ur n64 ill buy u some pizza campaign..., ive learned a lot, like what to be super careful with, and remeber of all the consoles besides the ps2 this one is probably the hardest....

1, 2 and 3) i was not very careful, at all! remember when working on a N64P treat a n64 board out of its case like 100 year old anique china that was used by a famous person in a famous place where somting histrically important happened! these things will fry at the drop of a hat! keep away from: people, carpet, bags everything! on a desk and grounded WHENEVER you touch them will be my policy from now on thats for sure! :D

thanks :D . i think i fried mine because it was my 1st time taking it out of the case and i missed some screws and used the wrong kind of screw driver on the heatsink and forced it off. BIG MISTAKE! next time i'll just leave it on

Also, an antistatic wristband is a must, the N64s are really sensitive to ESD.

I'll be honest with you - I would have never guessed that.

they also dont like to be thrown at people too, or ran over w/ a lawn mower, next time ill be sure to use the leaf bagger, so at least i can collect the smaller bite sized componets from my n64
