need help identifying source of a problem
I recently attempted to fix my NES by cutting the L-connector in half and using the 72-pin connector on the side usually connected to the motherboard as the new cartrige interface. This seems to be working except that the video output has little vertical lines every couple of pixels. Can anyone tell me which pins on the connector might be responsible for this?

I'm just using the output from the RF box. I'm mearly trying to repair it, not portablize it. I have a SJIII tucked away for thatgannon wrote:Are you using composite video from the outputs on the rf box, or did you solder a wire directly to the Vo on the nes? If you did the later you may need to build a small video amp.
