Yes, if you ran those in series and ran more batteries in parallel along with it.

2. minimum voltage and amperage for powersupply on 3.3 and 12v lines
3.3: min. 2.8v @ about 1.5A (i think)
12 : Min. 7.2v @ about .5A
Remember, you can put an unlimited number of amps into the n64 and it wont blow because amps is how long it will run. Put too many volts in and BOOM!

3. dc-dc converters? radio shack i am basically just starting so i need HELP! btw i got another n64 so YAY!
For the n64p my friend and I are working on, we are using a gameboy car adapter. It takes in at least 6-12 volts and knocks it down to 3v @ 2A.

( The friend i am building with is RNS0504)
Even if its not broken... Fix it anyways!

thanks a lot! it feels so good to be noticed lol. i changed my battery idea tho, i will be using 2x 6v 700mah tyco RC nicad batts, and if your correct that should work (mebe i need 3? i have 3 available so its all good.) now all i need is the screen and get it running for long enough on batts and im all set!

one more question. what voltage/amperage does the psone screen run at with and without the LED modification? oh, and how long do u think those batteries would run it all, n64 and screen(with LED mod probably) 2 or 3 6v 700mah nicads? thanks for your help

The rc batteries might work, but you would need 4. Wire two in series for 12v @ 700mah, and the other 2 + the ones in series for 2100 mah @12v. This should run for about 1hr 15 min. As for the psone screen, i wouldnt know because i am using a hip gear gcn screen controller combo. just post your question in the screen section and it should be answered within 24 hrs. BTW, have you checked RPGTKNick's site? It's basiclly a how to n64 guide. Link off doomportables systems section.

The psone screen uses 7.2v at 900ma without the led mod. It might be 800 ma but I'm pretty sure it's 900. With the LED mod it depends on which LEDs you use. If you use 4 rated at 3.6v @100 ma then it is rated at 600 ma.(that's on my Psone screen, least)

In response to RNS0504's comment on the 12v battery, wouldn't you use 6 of those batteries to get 12v@2100 mah? You'd need 2 in series to get 12v and then 3 of those in parellel to get 2100mah.

for the 3.3 volt line you could just use rechargeable AAs instead of cellphone batteries. They're also 1.2v but have a much higher capacity.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

ok i kinda get it...kinda, so... with the led mod on the lcd screen would it run off of 4x 6.0v 700mah batteries to run it all? if i run 2 of them in series for 12v at 1400mah for the 12v line and the other 2 in parrallel for 6v at 1400mah with a converter (home made out of 2 12v to 6v dc car adapters) to drop it to 3.3 (question: will having it at 3.8v hurt it any?) for the 3.3s and have other lines run for 6v at 700mah from one of the batteries in parrallel?
