Battery Adapters

Post by F »

Hey guys, I know this is a really dumb question but can somebody tell me where to get a power adapter like the one shown here:

It's the thing that's connected to the battery. And would anybody know where to get one of those that draws power from 3 batteries and then puts it into one plug?

I'm not sure where you can buy one, but you can make one from parts you can get at radioshack

Just one more question. What are the connectors on the end of RC batteries called and what is the power plug for the playstation called?

Radio Shack has the connectors. They sell both ends for $3 (or $2 if you're lucky) on the racks by the RC batteries. Get the 9.6V version; it has thinner wires and is easier to work with.

On the other end is a coax power plug. I don't recall the size offhand. Bring your PSOne into Radio Shack, test out the adaptaplugs until you find one or two that fit, then go to the racks and get the solder-tab version.
