N64 cart slot

Post by segasonicfan »

Hey guys.
I figured out (i cant believe it took me this long) that you can remove the cartride port from the N64 by simply pulling it out. I was wondering though, it the holes where the pins connect are the only place I need to solder the pins directly too. See, those same pins go through the holes to the expansion port on the bottom of the board...and they tough the expansion port pins. so do i need to solder each pin to its hole and expansion port counter part or just the hole it slides in? any info would be very helpful :)
