Yay!

Post by SpongeBuell »

I know I made a few Gamepark thread already, and this should be one of my last. Today, around noon CST, I got my GP32 BLU, complete with glass screen modificaion and at least 166MHz overclockability. The screen is so friggin nice, the colors just pop at you, and are really crisp. If anyone is considering getting a Gamepark, I'd highly recommend it. I actually got it at GP32z.com, and their service is pretty good. (and no, I did not get paid or a discount for saying that)

Is "overclockablility" a real word?

So sounds that the GP32 is a nice piece. Well please tell us how much you shelled out to get the BLU unit, and the extra it cost for you to get the addons you got.

technically it's not a real word, but I like making up words. It cost $185 for the BLU, $6 for the glass screen replacement (highly reccommended) and $6 shipping.

Also, the GP32 really is amazing. It even has its own version of Linux, which now has USB support. If I play my cards right, I can hook up a wifi thumb drive and a chatboard (keyboard) and surf the web at school using the wifi in the library :D

The glass screen is much clearer, while the standard plastic one has a purple tint to it. As for gettting one that overclocks, almost all Gameparks overclock already, but some go higher than others.

Can you post linkage to the GP Linux site? You can build a GP32 Windows CE enviroment, but it doesn't work.
