Adapter

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Adapter

Post by PhantomX17 »

Does anybody know how to build an adapter that would make it possible to connect a laptop screen to a portable Nintendo.

Here are some pictures showing you what we need to connect:

(To all the regulars: HA! BEAT YA!)

Sorry, because of the way the laptop communicates to the screen, you cannot use this screen for a portable without an expensive decoder card. Please refer to the "Screen FAQ", I have details there.

A decoder card is difficult to build, and each laptop is different. But if you think you can build one, Google around and see how it's done. We at Benheck all use screens that already use Composite or RGB signals.

Blacklock in 10... 9... 8...

(or HK-lock, gannon-lock, whoever is online.)
