Atari Lynx LED Mod

Has anyone done this mod, I am thinking of doing it, I think that 2-3 LEDs each side aimed at the reflector might do the trick, suggestions?

It has been done but it was never finished so I don't know if it can be done and look great.

Thanks, with the type of LEDs I have it should be easy to keep it neat and make it work.
