Dreamcast Solder Points

Post by HungHsiKuan »

Hey guys, I'm new here.
To get right to the point, I was performing the internal VGA mod for the Dreamcast, and I managed to wreck the +5v solder point that is shown in this diagram from mmmonkey.com

Point 5.

No solder will stick to this point anymore, so I was wondering if any of you know of any other points on the board that I could get my +5v supply from.
Images would be most helpful.
Thanks

Your image link is broken, but if there are any traces coming off of that point, you should be able to scrape off the solder mask enough to reveal a new solder point.

Image link should be fixed. And as you will see, the trace is very short, and I managed to ruin that at the same time.
