FS: SNES portable- Ben look a like model. . . .

Post by epayrob »

Built this awhile back, and thought I wouldn't sell it, but have to move a lot of stuff and move on to bigger things. This one is modeled exactly like Ben's SNES portable from his book. I made a couple small visual upgrades, like the smoke colored plexi battery covers, and some other cosmetic stuff I can't think of. Parts all professionally laser cut- not cheap. Use's Sony PSone screen/ speakers. I have made a video to check out- sorry it isn't of best quality- done on my older camera- not HD. Actually I don't know what to charge, so right now I would like reasonable offers, no trades as I am getting completely out of this hobby. I have sold on here before, but it's been awhile. My ebay account is epayrob, which is flawless. Located in Wisconsin. Make me an offer I can't refuse. . . .

No offense or anything but Ben Heck's prices are way over the top and are $750- $1000 for small portables like the NES or SNES.

This portable is VERY VERY well crafted and deserves a considerably large portion for this. Notice the "make me an offer I can't refuse" part.

There's no need to apologize. You shouldn't feel bad for making an offer.

I reported that post, but it appears that Black Six didn't feel it was necessary to remove said post. I guess flaming is allowed on The Trading Post.

I discovered this site this morning, and I've been on here all day. I thought of buying a SNES portable, but I had no idea of the price. A few seconds later, I realized the parts alone for these projects would be close to $200. With all the labor the I guessed finished project would be near $1000. Looks like my estimates were on the high end, but at least they weren't a slap in the face.
