guess what! i have enother quetion! how many amps does a psone screen take? and does it take 7.5 or 7.2 volts? if it takes 7.5 volts, would it work if i gave it 7.2 instead? i heard screens are pretty picky about voltage :?

Nope you can run the PSone screen off of 7.2v the way it really works is off of two 7805 regulators. Anways its draw is 750-1000mA, if you do the LED mod its down to arounf 350mA.

You remove the bulb, and put an LED in 3 corners. Ben's book says how in much greater detail.

i've decided that the batteries i'll use are 2 6v lantern batteries. that's 12v, the right amount for an intec gamecube screen, but not a psone screen. the problem is intecs are expensive so i want to use a psone screen, which is 7.2v. is there a way to convert 12v into 7.2v? or would a psone screen work if i gave it 12v? i'm going for long battery life, so if you're gonna suggest a differt voltage battery, i would preffer at least 20,000mah.

Use a 7805 regulator or the 7805 on the screen.

would a 7808 turn 12v into 8v? also is it possible (and easy) to conect composite AV to it without opening it up?

yes but you would need to know what the input resistance is to get the right voltage
