how to make portable nes with Power Player Super Joy III

okay, i want to make a portable NES that fits in a Altoids tin (or one a bit bigger). I found out about the Power Player Super Joy III. Is this illegal to buy? Does anyone have any experience attaching a lcd screen to the Power Player Super Joy III internal parts?. is this even possible? i am really excited for this project. If anyone has an experience, you help is welcome.
