Well then you should not need that circuit from eBay then.

How are you going to get 12 volts from 3.7 volt batteries though? You need a step-up circuit...

Aren't you rather off getting a 12 volt (or higher) and regulating it down to the required 3.7v?

Now your just confusing me, I'm going to get my batteries and wire them up (should add up to 7.4v) and step them down, you can do that can't you?

Yes, of course you can step them down. But I thought the N64 needed 12 volts.

The batteries you got, will give you 7.4 volts serial at 3.5 Ah or 3.7 volts parallel with 7 Ah.

But I think you need 12 volts for the N64. I dont think you can run it off of 7 volts... Most likely wrong though...

Oh :/ I knew it...

Why did Marshall say on his site that "One of the biggest hurdles is trying to get the N64 to run off of 12 volts and 3 volts". Thats where I got the 12v from...

You get the 7.4 from the battery in serial. The 3.3 is from the regulation.

Parallel doubles mAh, Serial doubles Volts.
