Arcade Virtual Boy Project

Post by Tighe »

Hi Everyone,

It has been a while since I posted here, but I would like to share this project of mine with you. I converted a Virtual Boy into an arcade cabinet inspired after Atari's Battlezone. You might remember the NESp I build back in 2001. Since then I have moved more toward arcade collecting and restoration, but this project really is somewhere in-between.

Gorgeous work! It looks so professional! I especially love the attention to the tiniest details, like the dedication plaque and the serial number tag. The cabinet is just plain gorgeous!

Absolutely Amazing work! I can only imagine what it's like playing Galactic Pinball on that. Never forget how addicted I was to that game.

Galatic Pinball is AWESOME on it!

Here is my impressions of what I have played:

Galactic pinball
Perfect with the side buttons! Launching with "a" is eazy and so is slamming. The shooting bonus in the cosmic table works great with the joy.

Vertical force:
Using the topfire is awesome. This game is great on the cabinet.

Red alarm:
Another game that works really well, the dual sticks are great,it just takes a minute to adjust to press the a an b buttons.

Wario
Works great the joy gives it more of an arcade feel.

Mario clash
Same as wario.

3d tetris
Also just better overall

Panic bomber
Now o don't know which system I like. Tp play this on more, the vb or nep geo.

Golf
Not much to say, it's golf. Good game not much benefit for the cabinet.

Same for baseball.
