Jaguar

Post by Link89 »

I think I'm going to make a jaguar portable, since I had never played it before let alone heard of it before I started making portables. There are two sites that sell them. There's buyrite which is $50 and atari2600 ahs them for $100. Obviously buy rite is cheaper but is it safer? What is the power the system takes and are there any cool or worth will mods for it?

The Jaguar mods I dont think it has any, but you can ask... name slips my mind now but he made the first Jaguar-portable.

As for the buy the system. There have been discussions about buyrite, they sound a lil shady if you want to risk it go ahead, but otherwise I'd go with atari2600. I'm the person that prefers reliablity over cost.

I'm starting to run low cash again though. It sounds like you get it just they don't show some costs until later. Dave made the portable jaguar and that's how I got inspired.

You can put in a BJL boot rom chip, or make a reset switch, but that's about it.
