well its 1:15 AM in canberra australia here, and im very tired, so naturallly yod expect me to be in bed sleeping...wrong
im sitting on my desk, legs crossed, monitoring my bed for the big ass FREAking spider that was right next to my face 5 minutes ago, ruined a perfectly good low quality megavideo stream of the movie Devil.
so what else but to continue on with streamed movies till dawn when a full scale spider killing assault will ensue. this is just one of two of my irrational fears:
spiders
and my finger nails (including cutting too close, scratching against various rough surfaces e.g. chalk board, and having them pulled out)
/blogging
what are your irrational fears
rational fears such as finger nails may also be included.

Re: Irrational fears
I've got Trypanophobia bad, but only for hypodermics coming my way. Other sharp stuff doesn't bother me in the least.

Re: Irrational fears
Holy crap, its now 2:32AM, i'm exhausted as i didn't sleep well last night and cant sleep tonight, because I spent 4 hours cleaning me room and did not find the spider.
so 15 minutes ago i was watching another low quality megavideo stream, reassuring myself that i cleaned everywhere so now spider could possibly be around....then a huge ass copulate leg pokes its way around the laptop screen.
do you get copulate annoying spiders in usa?

Re: Irrational fears
I'm not afraid of heights, I'm only afraid of what would happen if I fell. XD My imagination can get pretty active when I'm standing near a ledge. But I'm not afraid of being up that high at all.

@blaze Fear of the local fauna is not unfounded when one lives in Australia...
Not at all.
Don't follow the links if you want to travel there someday or sleep tonight.

Re: Irrational fears
there are some NASTY critters in austrailia lol. personally its not a true phobia (i dont go mental at the sight of em or anything, just dont put em on me! lol) but i have a VERY strong aversion to ants. i had a fairly traumatic experience with those little red piss ants (or whatever you call em) when i was about 3 and have hated ants in general ever since lol

I'm afraid of massive companies, like Wal-Mart and facebook.

Facebook scares the sh*t out of me. But that's a rational fear.bentendo64 wrote:I'm afraid of massive companies, like Wal-Mart and facebook.
I have an odd fear of heights. I'm afraid of being up high without any sort of restraint, but I'm perfectly okay with it if there's some sort of restraint (guardrail, harness, etc). As an example, I hate tall ladders, but I like rock climbing walls.
