i fried 4 actually...lol very sad stuff. but it was well worth it, my CDX portable (the cdx ultima) is the greatest damn thing ever...if i do say so myself :P Unfortunately there really isn't a chance of recovering the broken CDX's...but hey maybe somebody out there actually knows the system better than me. If anyone wants to buy my broken ones off me just drop me an email...

Oh come now. EVERY so often I look at other forums, but I don't wanna cheat on good old Forum 42!

Speaking of 42, Hitchhiker's Guide comes out today. I wonder if it'll be any good?

Me too, I'd have gone to see it already if I had some cash :(
If it was warmer out I'd run around to any of the parks near me and try and collect soda cans :) (yay for michigan and it's $0.10 a can!)

Oh, it is most certainly good, so good I saw it twice today. Highly recommended to anyone with a sense of humour (the 'u' is important, trust me).

I saw The Guide earlier, it was good, very well done, but I thought the book was much funnier. I dont know, I guess the comedy is better in words.

I say hhgttg, it was pretty good, but I still like the books better. Not saying the movie was bad, it was still pretty funny. :)

I'm now reading the first book again (its been ~two years), I think I'll tell my teacher I've never read it, and do this report on it.

Yes, they had to change it a little to make the translation to the big screen better, but that planet still was described in the book, exactly as it was in the movie.
