Wii Laptop Questions

hey guys i was wondering what kind of materials would/could be used to make the case.
would it bet better to add a usb hard drive or replace the disk drive with a sun driver?
is there any way to extend the dvd drive cables?(if i don't use a sun driver)
could you let me know your opinion this would help me a lot thanks.

for vac forming I would use styrene. I dont know much about flash stick/optic drive however I know that you could extend the disk drive

If you want a vacformed case, plenty of people could help you out, or make you one, including myself.

I would just use the wii itself and improvise the screen portion

yeah but i was going for like one like Ben's Xbox 360 but a Wii instead with a keyboard.

It will depend largely on your screen size, batteries, and if you are keeping the drive.

i am going with a screen about 15". is that big enough?

and i am not sure if i should use batteries or use the Wii"s power supply. what do you guys think?

Oh wow that is big. Well, it's really up to you. With a screen that large you will need some pretty high capacity batteries. The Wii also has a pretty decent power drain,(correct me if I'm wrong) so if I were you I would just use the power cord. Are you keeping this or selling it?

it depends if people really want it otherwise i will keep it. and i think i will use the power supply because i would need too expensive batteries to power the laptop.
