WTS: N64p plus xtras $250

Post by newguy101 »

good to see everyone again, i haven't posted or even been on these forums in over a year now, probably longer than that. But anyway, my old N64P is now for sale. i do have to say that although all of the pieces are there, it doesn't turn on. I have a 19 month old son and i just don't have time to troubleshoot the damn thing. Im 99% sure the screen is still good. I KNOW the batteries are good as well as the A/C adapter, and the jumper pack as well as the 3.3v regulater, and the controller. Ive checked all the connections and wires once and it all seems to be properly hooked up. From what i can tell the only thing that can be the source of the problem is the N64 board itself. Im including all the pieces, the case and all the buttons, the Sony screen and speakers, the batteries and EVERYTHING you need to complete this project if you have the time, im sure it wont take much but i have no time and need the money. Heres what you get with it for troubleshooting problems:
-extra 3.3v Texas Instruments regulator
-extra Sony 5" PS1 screen
-extra 3mm LEDs
-extra working N64 board(still in case)
-extra jumper pack
-extra wires
-extra N64 joystick and buttons

So with all this extra stuff you could almost build a second portable. The only thing left to do is to replace the N64 board without frying it. The batteries are 7.2v rechargeable and i even altered the A/C adapter to charge the batteries so no removing the batteries to charge them.
Features include:
-room for expansion pack(dont have one to go with it. But the way its set up the top of the expansion/jumper card port will rest steadily right below the cartridge slot wiring. so no need to rewire the jumper pack. you can just plug it in.)
-built in 7.2V batteries(lithium ion) with 5200MaH(with battery protection circuit)
-A/C adapter/charger
-RCA plugs for audio/video outputs
-Xbox 360 trigger buttons
-slim(well as slim as possible without extensive circuitry knowledge) case design
-relocated cartridge slot
-D-pad is a much smaller version of the N64 pad, its actually from a Gamecube controller, to save space
-MEMORY CARD SLOT(dont see many of these) located just above the cartridge slot
-clips for all the wires for easy dis-assembling(the top and bottom halves of the case can be more easily separated)

I know i used to be on the GOOD TRADER list but who knows if i still am. I'm asking $250 and think its a fair price but ive been so far out of the portablizing game that i dunno what it is worth. PM me if you are interested
