lower voltage (need help!)
I'm thinking about making a n64p but i don't know if just using a resistor can lower the voltage from my batteries form like 12 volts to about 3.3 volts if you know if that will work please let me know
Re: lower voltage (need help!)
Resistors are for limiting current, not regulating voltage. Get yourself a 3.3v Fixed Regulator and use that. It's 12v In typically, as long as it's a few volts over what the Reg. is fixed at, then Ground and 3.3v Out, not much more than that to it. Just make sure it can handle the amount of current you intend to draw thru it as they come in all sizes.
Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.

Which Screen are you using.
If Its a psone screen then you need a 7.5 voltage regulator.
This diagram should work.

I am not liable for any damages that may occur.
please consult *o* or Harshboy for extra info.
