How did you modify the logo???

To guess, I'd say you removed the panel, scraped off the part that said "game" from the back, printed "handy" in matching font on black background, cut it out, placed, glued, and put the panel back.
Cheers,

umm...

tib did a high def scan of the screen cover for me. i modified it in gimp. and many hours later after it was perfect, i printed it on decal paper and applied it. i'm gonna actually reprint it with a better method so it's easier to apply to the case.

it's a different case. i recased it in a zn-40 case so i can use a 5" screen. the original screen protector would not work even if i hadn't shattered mine.
they call me the Queen of Bondo, though maybe i should be called the Queen of Epoxy Putty

That's really nice!

I've never heard of decal paper before. Looks like something I"ll have to look into for my portable CDX projekt ;)

Hopefully some of you remember my weed whacker-powered bicycle I built almost a year ago. (http://forums.benheck.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=32902" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

It's still going strong! :awesome: I added an extra heatsink to help keep it cool and a temperature gauge.

The gauge has ten LEDs that go up based on how hot the engine is. The LEDs are driven by a LM3914 that takes an analog voltage from an op-amp to drive the LEDs. The op-amp takes the resistance from the thermister attached to the engine and converts it to an analog voltage for the LM3914. I added a 555 that turns on when the top LED lights up and makes a buzzer turn on and off.
I forgot to take a picture of the underside of the board, but it's a rat's nest of wire porn. It took about 2 hours to wire up.

Or a way to get it started without having to run next to it, did you fix that problem yet?

Haha, no, it still has no clutch. :P But the tire hasn't worn any further, so that's good.

Well I didn't have much of anything to do yesterday. So I built my self a DVD/Games shelf for a small unused spot in my room. I made it from stuff we had laying around the house. Just had to get some screws.

Image

It's all real wood, apart from the cheap paneling stuff I used as the backing to keep stuff from falling out. I also didn't use any plywood either.

And while it may not be perfect. But I bet this will last longer than anything Ikea makes!

So, I was at the beach, bored, and the water was too cold to go in. So I made this:

That is really cool! We used to pick up flotsam and make stuff out of that.

But it's never too cold to go in the water. Sometimes, you just have to cut a hole.
