fuses (not electrical kind)
I am looking for trustworthy sites that sell fuses, the kind you light and burn down. I can't seem to find any on ebay, no matter how much I change the wording on ebay, all I get are electrical fuses. so if anybody knows where I can find fuses ( and don't say "take them out of bottle rockets, hur hur" your help would be greatly appreciated.
rest in peace, Ronnie James Dio! \m/

no problem.
Re: fuses (not electrical kind)
I came up with this recipe one day while bored
Materials:
- 1 part potassium nitrate
- 1 part icing sugar
- tap water
- j-cloths, or maybe even paper towels. something that burns, but wont tear when wet
Directions:
- grind the potassium nitrate in a blender or something until it looks as fine as the icing sugar
- mix the potassium nitrate and the sugar together while dry (warning: if you want to use a power mixer then do it outside)
- add just enough water to turn it into a gross sticky paste
- cut the cloth into long thin strips
- apply a thin even layer of paste to the cloth.
- roll the cloth up lengthwise with the paste on the inside. Kind of like its a pastry. (should roll up about 2-3 times, not more)
- allow to dry for a week, or however long it takes to get rock hard.
They burn very slowly, but with vigor.
