PS2p (Help no video)

Hi guys I started work on my first ever portable on Monday so far I’ve got almost everything wired up basically its a ps2 in a portable DVD player case it’s got a 7inch screen I’m not going to have a build in controller because call me lazy but when I weighed everything it was about half a kilo and I can’t be bothered holding that for more than about 10 minutes so I’ll just have the controller jacks

Uh oh I’ve lost visual and audio I turned it on this morning and there was nothing on the screen. The last thing I did was desolder the power jack. Can anyone help?

I soldered a new power jack on and there was still nothing so I plugged my Xbox into the screen just to be sure and it worked but it was in black and white. I just realised that when I turn the ps2 on the screen rolls and goes black (blacker than when it’s just sitting with no input) but still no picture or sound should I have a resistor of some sort or is there anything obvious that I should check any help would be great.

I decided to continue building the case without the ps2 working properly today i glues the fount panel on I still need to get some putty to round off the edges also I can’t decide what to paint it black, black and white, black and red, just red or just white your thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.
