Post by Curly »

Sorry guys you've probably answered this question many a time, but I'll ask it anyway.

What battery should i buy that would be suitable for the gamecube?

11.1v - 14.8v battery will give you enough voltage.

6400mAh will give you about 2 hours for the 11v battery
4500mAh will give you about 2 1/2 hours.

You can choose either battery, when the voltage is higher the current draw is less, which is why the 14.8v battery is lasting longer even though it has less mA. Oh course this still means you need another battery.

Maybe about 2 hours without anything but the gamecube. I wouldn't recommend using ebay for that batteries though. It sucks, that battery is the size of a brick with only 3000mAh, don't get it buy real batteries from a real website, like batteryspace.com

Don't bother with ebay to get cheap batteries, they are usually rip offs.

Ok thanks anyway!

Another question how much would it be for a battery that would power the gamecube and a screen for about an hour?

Actually scrap that last question

What do u think about this battery, the Gamecube + Screen only has to run for about an hour anyway.

Curly, in the future, please use the edit button instead of repeatedly posting.

Thanks.

That looks like a good battery, if it's good quality it should be great for a gamecube portable, both of them actually. The hard part is determining that quality.
