wires (dont know where they go!)

Hi! Umm I was just looking through Ben Heck's book about how to make a NES portable, and I don't know where this wire goes to.

the book says this

but I just don't know what to do with it, or what it really does...

I think it's just the video out to the screen. It is just the way he has the diagram, one wire leading out to the screen, but hes got it pointing to a different location. You can actually grab it at any point between those 2 resistors. Refer to his earlier diagram of the Video amp he mention earlier in the book.

But my wire that isn't connected to anything isn't shown anywhere in his diagram. It doesn't tell me anything about it or what to do with it.

umm another question. would someone be able to make a diagram that shows how to power the ps1 screen, kind of like what i had? cuz i dont know exactly what to do, and i dont wanna fry my screen. any help would be appreciated!
