The 72 pin connector in my NES isn't working. Can I use the one from power joy?

the one form a powerjoy is 60 pins.

I would get a game genie and hardwire the genie inside so you have a never fail cart slot, AND you have a game genie that doesn't make the nes games stick out.

+1 to that. That's what I'm doing in my portable NES. So far it's working great.

same here.

wait, didn't I give you that idea?

nonetheless, I don't see why more people do that. I mean, a portable nes is cool, but a portable nes with options for 1000s of cheats? insanely cool.

If you want a new 72 pin connector, I'll sell you one cheap.

how cheap?

I may need a new one since the one I refurbished is acting kind of flaky.

Normally $7 (with cash, check, money order, or google checkout), but I can do less for you, because I can just throw it into the TGIMBOEJ. Maybe $6 or something? I prefer cash, checks, or money orders, but I'll take Google Checkout or Paypal. For google checkout, add $.25; for paypal, add $.60.
