When I said they have a common ground, I meant all the grounds from different parts are all connected. I haven't had any time lately to work on anything but schoolwork. I also need a soldering tip, but I'm at college without a car. As soon as I can get to Crapshack (or Radioshack/Ratshack), and find a break from schoolwork, this is my first priority.
