Wiring GC Controller to Port

Post by GamecubePerson111 »

I was not sure if I were to wire the GC controller to the first player port, which colored wires go to which pins on the back of the controller port? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

you may find a bit usefull this topic

http://forums.benheck.com/viewtopic.php ... 98&start=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

anyway your wires colors showed in the guide may differ from your controller, in that case use a multimeter or check manually each pin color by taking apart the gamecube controller plug, I used that trick on the non official controllers to discover the good colours, then all you have is replace the colors showed at the guide with your own wires color.

hope that helps :)

Kasar, I'd like to point out that you are awesome. Despite the myriad of questions this section gets, you are always willing to help the newcomers! If I had a hat, I would tip it off to you! :D

Instead of using a triwing, you can use a fairly small flat head screwdriver too, ;)
