Admit defeat?! What kind of portablizers would we be if we did that?

Seriously though, if I had a working Xbox I could do it for sure. No, really I'm serious.
It would hafe to be wall powered though.

The Xbox uses abotu 2.2A so really your only option (if you dont want a broken back) is high capacity Li-ion or if you have access to gold Lithium Poly.

buy a laptop :P

seiously it would cost so much to get enought batteries to have a reasonable playtime (plus back problems for the rest of you life)

Well my idea would be to have two or more belt packs that each had three RC car batteries, so each pack would have 9 amps of power, so you'd have 18 amps, which is like 6 or 7 hours of playtime. But 6 RC car batteries is like 90 or 100 dollars, so youre set pretty far back.

Its not like you can play and hold a laptop at the same time, unless your talented. So holding a portable xbox would be about as hard (with more weight). :)

Yeah, like I said, it's not very practical to make a portable X-Box, I was just saying battery power is kinda the lesser of two evils in this case.

I think Nightmare Armor might have made a portable XBOX. And it used the backpack idea to an extent. They're the company that make Master Chief suits. I remember in and interiew they said that they could build an xbox and lcd into the MC's battery backpack thing.

*cough* your backpack idea?

Why would you use a rinky dink Hipgear screen on with one of the three new systems? If I bothered to do this, I'd want atleast 5 inches.

well my backpack idea was a little different and less joking than yours lol, and i was thinking spotlight batteries they are fairly small and could be in the backpack because the xbox modified as much as possible to cut down weight (remove case and replave with smaller do CF mod etc)
