snes mod help

hi all.
i was attempting to mod a snes into a toaster.
i wired the plug in directly into the the snes,
afterwards the snes turns on but there is no picture or audio.
it worked fine before this change,
that is the only change i made to it so far.
i have another snes that i tested the cables and they work fine.
any ideas? help would be much appreciated

Did you wire the polarities backwards?

the snes turns on.

weird. have you checked if you soldered the audio video wires correctly?

are you sure you didn't put the cartrage in backwards

i havent touched the audio/video cable at all,
all i did was solder the ac cord straight to the board.
instead of using the little circle shaped plug on the end of the ac adapter

and im quite sure the cartridge is in correct as its faceing front towards the controller plugs

Did you take 230-130~volts or just 9volts (or whatever SNES takes)? But 230-130~volts would fry the motherboard...

Well, I dont have a Super Nintendo (and I didn't had), but try resoldering AV wires. Make sure the cartdrige is tight in the cart slot. If this still doesn't work, make sure the AV cable (the one on the outside, one where you plug in to the TV) is all the way in the jack. (Sorry to my bad english if it is).
