Yea Ive heard some pretty terrible reviews on these HK batteries. I am short on cash, and I was having trouble finding relatively inexpensive batteries on batteryspace. Would two of these connected in a series work since I need 12v for my screen?

I need The batteries to fit on either side of the cartridge area like this:

Yes those ought to work fine, but keep in mind they are 1" thick.

Ok. I'll see if I can find any thinner ones, but they should still be fine if they are an inch thick.

Left some scathing negative feedback for sure. :?
aw man seriously? I just bought one of those batteries! I just sent the buyer a message asking him personally. How can they pull of some BS like that?!?!?

Yeah, I bought one of those too, they really do suck. I messaged the seller, I believe it was securitycam2000 or something or other. He was not aware that the battery was of a low capacity, so he took all of them off his store, what a great person. However, there are other sellers who sell the same battery, and they really do suck. They were a waste of my money and time... hopefully you can file a complaint using Paypal or something, I wish you luck!

im not sure what screen your useing but.. i think you need 5000 mah to have decent game time.. the n64 wastes a lot of heat... and for the expansion.... dont even try bending it.. its so fragile... i tried it and i have n64 mobo thats useless because i cant get the soldering done right for some reason :( just cut it down and make a heatsink go around it

I am going to contact the manufacturing company to formally complain. There are tons of sellers with these batteries and none of the sellers are checking the item with a multimeter which is ridiculous in my opinion. These batteries should be off the market, or at least changed in their description.

Yea the description for all of these batteries is pretty poorly translated, and spouts nonsense like "super capacity" and "9800 mAh" when really they are nothing like that. Not worth the money.

Okay I'll make a separate thread for the battery scam when I figure some things out. Sorry to get off topic there.

Ok well, it's winter break, so I was bored, but I still don't have enough money to do anything else, sooo....
I made another mock-up of the case, and it looks pretty good.

(mockup taken down) possibly replaced later

Unfortunately, It probably won't look as nice in real life.
