I'm glad to hear it's still working for you, Jeff. Luckily the smoking was just an inductor frying instead of the N64 board  At least one failsafe worked :)

Also, if anyone has any questions on how the thing is wired (the color coding is a bit confusing) just let me know.

I'm sure you all know how great Jeffslot is - take my word for it, he is. I am pretty poor with communication (Jeff was wondering where his L64 was for a few months) but he stuck with it and never gave up on me. Thanks Jeff.

EDIT: Jeff's L64 is now the only one in existence. Mine took a spill off a table and I might take this chance to redesign the case and trim everything down.

I have a Sega Nomad, tons of NOACs, a gamecube screen, and lots of things that CTFan rejected.

You'll probably need a little more than that... Especially for the darth 64, which I believe was sold on ebay...

IIRC the darth 64 sold for around 600$ on ebay. and 300$ would barely cover the cost of parts on an average n64, let alone the high standard of craftsmanship that marshalls portables have
