PS3 + 400 Disc Blu-Ray changer = Awesome

why? what would be the point? if you are to lazy to change the games in your ps3 by hand, you dont deserve the aformentioned ps3.

i want this for the same reason that i want power windows/locks in my car instead of manual windows/locks

technology affords us the ability to be more efficient (read lazy) in everyday life, and i have no problem with that

have 400 blu-rays (games/moves) in the changer as opposed to taking up space on an ugly dvd rack in my living room would also really appeal to my wife

Disc. Protection.
If you don't touch the disc, you can't damage it.

And bragging rights, those are always good. I'd consider doing something similar with a cheap CD changer and putting in the guts of a DVD drive, but then I'd just be sad when I couldn't fill it.

Why use the blu-ray player? If you are hacking it, you could use the CD player.

My family has one of these for CDs, and one for DVDs. A few kids in the house makes it worth it.

as far as her and the dvd rack are concerned, I gave up trying to understand women a long time ago
