Okay... I've followed quite a few different things.
there is this version:

and there is Ben's book.
They are different.
they tell you to wire the comp video out differently, wire the ctp different, and then even the 7805
Also... the points at which you connect video, audio and power are all different
Is there a true guide out there?
I currently seem to have a problem, but can't trouble shoot it.
The video strats rolling within about 4 mins of playtime.
I've checked my connections, all seems to be okay.
any advice?

I figured out the issue (sort of).
However, I do want to point out that the two versions are different.
Those making an Atari 2600 need to know that or they will be in for a world of hurt.

People have their own way of doing things.
Neither one is really better, just follow one all the way through, and perhaps use the other as a reference point.
