7.2 volt battery packs

Post by F »

I'm looking for some good 7.2v battery packs for my PSp, but I can't find any with lots of juice. I'm looking for 6-10 amps in a fairly slim battery pack. If anybody could help me I'd appreciate it greatly.

If you want 6-10 ampos thats quite a lot of power. The only way your going to have it (somewhat) compact and light is to buy two radioshack r/c recharable batteries. The Ni-MH have 3 amp capacity.

I found this 6 volt that has the amps you want. It's ni-cd so you're supposed to completely drain before playing. Here's the link

That's what I'm going to use in mine.

If you look closely at that battery pack, it seems to be made up of 10 3500mAh NiCD batteries. It'd probably be better to get some sub-c NiMH 3000mAh batteries off of ebay. I saw a set of 20 sell for $40 a few days ago, and lots of times they sell 2 of the radio shack battery packs for $30.
