I know we have about a million threads for the contest now, but just letting everyone know I made a sticky for official contest entries. Did I state what's required clearly enough in the sticky? Anything I need to clarify or reword?

Entries must include one picture of the front, one picture of the back, and two gameplay pictures (and/or one video) which prove that the system is functional. At least one of the pictures must be at an angle which shows the overall thickness of the system. Whoever finishes their portable first PM me and I will start an official submission thread.

I had a question about this. Can you have 1 youtube video that contains views of the front, back, thickness and gameplay and be fine entering? Or do you need to have actual pictures also?

Is taking pictures an issue? As in, you have access to a camcorder but not a camera?

No it's not an issue at all. I was just wondering. I just figured if I was going to make a gameplay video, that I should probably just make a video showing all it's features like most people do. I just didn't know if just a video would suffice. I just thought I would ask.

Trouble? No, no trouble at all. Having pictures makes it easier to have a gallery for voters to look at and choose from. Adding a video is icing on the cake.

I believe you misunderstood what Skyone was saying. The competition is still going - nothing has affected it.

Speaking of which, it's now August - time to ramp it up, people! Get those submissions in!

Hope I did misinterpret what Skyone said Brian, although this is the "Portable-Palooza (2008/2009)" so was concerned that he/others were canceling it (from his quote) .... A lot of people have worked hard for this after all.

What else could he have been referring to? (i'm asking because I don't know).

I was just referring to the initial effort put forth by the moderators to start up Portable-Palooza. In no way was I referring to a canceling of the contest.
