read the discriptions, their the samething. The LAN adapter just doesnt need any support software, but has a possiblity of not being compatible.

The LAN adapters/ BBA in the USA is the same one as use in Japan. The only difference I can think there is would be in the software but that may not be that different either.

Thanks a lot. I'm gonna incorperate one on my portable but my dad showed me how to telnet with the dreamcast to my home network. I then got on the net that way.
Well I'm making a Dreamcast Portable. I'm waking a website as I speak. It's gonna have a built in modem and a laptop power supplie because thats the most efficent. I just found a laptop hard drive in my basement so I might incorperate that in it.
Just dont expect too much performance out of it remember USB 1.1 only aloues up to 15mbs.

I've decided that when I have free time I will be working on my Dreamcast portable. I was wondering if it was possible to use a laptop cd rom drive. I have a couple lying around and was wondering if I could put the gd rom in it.
