Reg SNES or MINI SNES

Hi Im new to these forums and looking to build a portable SNES since every day it looks like Nintendo won't release Earthbound for GBA and I have got to take matters into my own hands. I have two 1st gen. SNES. The first one is my main one and the second is the parts SNES to restore my main one to its former condition. Which would you say would be the better SNES to make a portable into, the first gen SNES or the SNES Mini?

well, the 2nd gen is better since it's smaller. The problem with the first gen in my oppinion is mainly the fact that the board is basically square, while the 2nd gen is thinner witch makes a nicer looking unit.

Do you know the dimensions of the SNES mini?

If you can find a mini snes version2 buy it. It's so much better going with the smallest one you can find.
